William Angliss Institute is the Government endorsed specialist training provider for the foods, tourism, hospitality and events industries and is recognised as Australia’s leading provider of training for these key industry sectors. The Institute aims to provide excellent education and training services for industry, students and government in Victoria, Australia and internationally. An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Manager to join the Institute’s Singapore Management Group with accountability for the delivery and supervision of corporate services within the Singapore campus including Finance, HR, IT, Facilities, Quality Assurance and Student Services. The successful candidate will also oversee and evaluate strategies to ensure compliance with SSG, CPE and AQF requirements and be involved in management decisions accordingly. Key Responsibilities include: - Manage and ensure financial and audit processes meet the Institute’s financial and strategic objectives and achieve positive audit outcomes;
- Oversee the Student Services team and functions including administrative, finance and process related tasks;
- Identify Continual Improvement opportunities;
- Ensure Singapore staff are employed according to all legislative and Institute requirements;
- Lead and guide the Singapore team to demonstrate Institute values and culture in their daily work;
- Manage, review and develop IT and Facilities resources and processes in order to provide a safe, functional and environmentally friendly working environment for staff and students;
- Oversee the continued development and maintenance of an integrated QA System;
- Lead the pursuit of quality objectives as the main point of contact for Edutrust Certification and Enhanced Registration Framework (ERF) re-registration with CPE, SSG quality issues and Grant Certification Note (Cat A) and TP Gateway (Cat B) compliance.
The ideal candidate will have: - A relevant Degree and post graduate qualifications and experience, or extensive management and leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant management and leadership experience and /or education or training;
- Demonstrated experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders such as SSG and CPE;
- Successful experience in resource planning, budgeting, compliance and use of management information systems;
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal, and a demonstrated commitment to consultative leadership and participative decision making;
- Well developed leadership skills and experience that foster a co-operative and collegiate approach within the Institute;
